TRINITY COLLEGE ORIENTATION 2017
Orientation Week this year is taking place September 3rd – 9th. This years incoming students will go on a Trinematic Adventure through the movies.
HOW DO I GET INVOLVED
There are three ways to be involved in Orientation Week. You can be a Co-Chair, on the O-Week Executive, or an Orientation Leader.
Co-Chair’s are the creators and organizers of the week’s programming and manage an Executive team as well as the Orientation Leaders. Orientation Co-Chairs are elected positions. Students must prepare an extensive event proposal to present to the Trinity College Board of Stewards, Trinity College Finance Committee, and finally the TCM. Elections usually take place at the beginning of March.
The O-Week Executive assists in the planning and coordination of Orientation and is selected by the Orientation Co-Chairs. Executive positions can either be offered to students before Orientation Week elections or they can be competed for after Orientation Week elections through application. To find out more about the O-Week Executive’s role in planning Orientation Week, take a look at the Executive Roles & Responsibilities 2017. Applications come out for these positions shortly after elections.
